Recap: Shibori + bubbles in a beautiful home
Beauty comes in all forms and sizes, shapes and designs. We are super thankful to have shared a beautiful afternoon with two groups of amazing women at our last workshop! We made French 75 cocktails and did some shibori dying at the home of Sarah Bayot, founder and designer of Kicheko Goods, joined by Eva Calonder, founder and designer of Printed Wild.
We ate lemon bars and sipped our cocktails, shopped and shared stories. We had a special pop-up shop for our guests and Eva and Sarah gave an inside look at their businesses and passion for design. We all folded, mixed and waited for our textiles to soak up the dye together in Sarah's home.
As always, I was super impressed by the creativity that everyone applied to their craft--each piece was uniquely folded and resulted in breath taking results. The reveal of the dye work was my favorite part! We all would ooh and aah as each person opened up their cloth.
Thank you to everyone who attended and a special thanks to Sarah and Eva, and of course my sister, for co-hosting! See you all soon!
