Outside patio bitters-making at the Colony Club
Yesterday was one of the first days when it really, truly, felt like Spring in DC. Everyone was out on roof tops, enjoying the weather and running into strangers on the street.
We spent the afternoon with Embitterment at the Colony Club for our April workshop: Manhattans & bitters-making.
Eric, co-founder of Embitterment Bitters, led an amazing workshop where we learned all about the history of bitters, how different ingredients go together to make bitters and then made our own bitters! We of course had Manhattans, specialty recipes including Chocolate, Orange and Lavender--all made with Embitterment Bitters.
Here are a few photos from our workshop. Hope to see you at one soon!
