THE DC GUIDE TO DRINKING AND CRAFTING

We love drinking cocktails and making crafts and thought, why not share our favorite spots in Washington, DC?

We teamed up with Painted Palettes  and Typecase Industries to make you a one-of-a-kind DIY greeting card with a curated guide to where to drink and craft!

If you're in the market for a guide to drinking and crafting in the district, look no further. This greeting card has dual purposes---make a DIY handmade sentiment for a friend and let them know good places to drink and/or craft in the city.

The DC Guide to Drinking and Crafting is a collaboration of resources between three DC businesses; by purchasing, you are shopping small. Keep scrolling for a google map, addresses, and photos of each spot so you can go out and explore all the cocktails and crafts that DC has to offer!

DIY GREETING CARD

DIY-cocktails-craft-card-DC-painted-palettes

This is a DIY card so it is built to withstand watercolor, markers, or colored pencils on the front, so go crazy and make it your own! It is made of thick letterpress paper (5.25x5.5) and accompanied by a beautiful kraft envelope.

On the outside of the card, you will find a DC outline and icons to suggest where a location is. On the inside cover, you will find a corresponding key that tells you what the icons represent and an online guide to map out your crafting and drinking crawl. Keep scrolling for a full list of our picks and addresses.

1905

When our friend first took us to 1905 we fell in love with the brunch (no wait!), later on we fell in love with the cocktails and the rooftop, both our go-to picks for when we have friends in town!

Never underestimate the power of a drink. These ones might surprise you. Despite their silly names and sweet illustrations, these drinks are strong and serious. They also have the best selection of glassware in town.

REPUBLIC RESTORATIVES

We're lucky to have quite a few distilleries in DC, but this one is one of our favorites not only because they are women-run, but also because they have a gorgeous bar and excellent cocktails! And, of course, we love their booze.

COLONY CLUB

We love Colony Club so much! They gave us our first permanent home in DC and we couldn't have imagined a better space for our workshops. We usually are in the upstairs area, but we love the outdoor patio, too! Go for jazz night on Thursdays! And say hi to Valerie, our co-founder who's sometimes behind the bar making drinks!
