Maybe you won’t be a contestant on Project Runway because that would require learning how to sew...but you can design, carve, and use a homemade print block to make your own printed pillowcase and add a touch of style to your home.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of block printing and carve and print your own unique design. You’ll also be able to keep your block so that you can print your heart out at home on other fabrics. Bring inspiration of your favorite shapes, animals, symbols, or crests to make a distinctive pillow case you’ll love to use in your home.

This workshop includes:

  • A carving block

  • Something to carve with

  • Something to print with (Fabric Block Printing Ink, Rubber Brayer, Plexiglass - 5x7”)

  • A Cotton Canvas Tote Bag

  • Other helpful items (paint sticks, mason jars, pencils, paper, tracing paper, string, clothes pins, inspiration images)
