Recap: Macramé Plant Hangers in Reston at Kalypso's

Last week we met up at the beautiful Kalypso’s lounge area at Lake Anne to learn macramé and enjoy some cocktails as the sun set.

We started with practicing the most-used macramé knots and then got to work making plant hangers for our little baby bulb plants. Although no one had done macrame before, everyone picked up the knots very quickly, and left with a gorgeous and individual creation — like snowflakes, no two plant hangers looked exactly alike.

All of the plant hangers turned out great. They are both functional and beautiful!  We had a really fun evening and got out of Kalypso’s just before Wednesday night karaoke started.
