I'm Stephanie Echeveste. Your host of first coat, a new podcast about public realm art, how it's made and why it matters. I'm an artist and entrepreneur based in Brooklyn, New York.
I run Distill Creative, where I connect artists and real estate developers for inclusive and equitable site specific art projects. Each week, I'll interview artists, real estate developers, and organizations who work on art projects and creative activations in the public realm. We'll explore the relationship between art public spaces and real estate development. You'll learn about murals, creative activations, and site specific projects that are in parks, plazas and luxury apartment buildings.
