Studio Update: Time/Space Art Talk at Compère Collective on Saturday, May 20th, 2-4pm

I’ve been busy working in my studio on ceramic projects and drawing practice, but my most exciting update this month is being a part of Time/Space, a group exhibition currently on view at Compère Collective. We had a really wonderful opening last week and this weekend we have an artist talk on Saturday, May 20th, from 2-4pm. I hope you can join us!

Our artist panel will be at Compère Collective in Red Hook, Brooklyn. You can also join virtually via Zoom. We’ll share our inspiration and motivation for making art.

RSVP here.

About Time/Space Exhibition

Women and (m)others are often expected to give up their time and space in favor of those in their care. This, to the point where it may feel like no amount of time is enough, and no space theirs to claim. Thus, while time and space are quantifiable and objective concepts, they seem to take on subjective perception within the context of the way we live.

Time/Space features art made in response to care-work, the trappings of time and infringement on space within the mothering experience.
