In this workshop you will:

• learn the basics of illustration, and how various mediums and styles convey different stories

• hear the benefits of journaling and ideas on how to fit it into your busy life

• get helpful tips on what materials you need and how to pack supplies to take your art on the go

• receive multiple handouts providing detailed information: a list of what to journal, detailed illustration techniques, lettering basics, page layout/composition ideas, and storytelling ideas.

• be provided with a new journal and have hands on time participating in 3 creative exercises to start your own illustrated journal
