Places that need places

Recently went on a run down Florida Ave and saw some spaces I've thought about many times and am still thinking about. What are the possibilities for these gap spaces?

This nice triangle shows up green on google maps--what if it were actually green? Perhaps it was at one point.

I like this site because it is in the center of everything-connector between U street bars, Bloomingdale and Shaw. It's just North of the historic Howard Theatre and has some retail frontage (once some new spots open; RIP

Things you could just do here:

Layout some fake lawn and make a sun bathing site.

Project B/W films on that wall!

Have a silent disco.

Jazz trio before shows at Howard Theatre.

Dance performance.

Log playground for kids.

Make the asphalt a live board game by painting on the board.

Hammocks.
