Join us for a Sugar Skull decorating workshop! We’ll decorate sugar skulls in honor of Día de los Muertos at the new location of Geeky Teas in Burbank, CA.
In this workshop you will learn about calaveras and decorate your own calavera (sugar skull) to take home.
Día de los Muertos is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd in central and southern Mexico to welcome the spirits of those who have passed on. Each home creates elaborate altars decorated with candles, marigolds, fruit, peanuts, mole, pan de muerto, food, water, soda, hot chocolate and sugar skulls.

Nicole Schroeder
Nicole Schroeder joined Distill Creative in Fall 2017 to launch the Southern California chapter after moving to LA from DC. She is a painter and designer at her brand Atthirtyone, where she creates fine art and accessories inspired by nature and culture. Nicole also spent time overseas, where she learned a lot about how to hand-make good cocktails with limited ingredients.
