Recap: Watercolor Workshop in Reston
Last week we gathered at the charming Kalypso’s restaurant in beautiful Lake Anne to play with over a hundred different watercolor tubes. We tried out the colors we liked, then took them home in a DIY Altoid tin watercolor palette.
This workshop was about discover, experimentation, and play, with a bit of a wine tasting twist, with an expert watercolor sommelier on hand to recommend new tubes to try based on what folks were enjoying, and how best to experiment to bring out watercolor’s properties.
